Jewellers workbench / desk

A carpenter-built jewellers desk made for hard work. Available fully assembled, or as four strong sub-assemblies that bolt together at home, which keeps freight very reasonable anywhere in Australia. Packing is free.

A slide-out tool drawer holds a centrally placed lift-out steel catch tray with rounded corners for quick recovery, with tool storage either side. Two leg-mounted tool trays, a low half shelf for heavy items, and a discreet hidden shelf built into the bench top. Two side tool racks with a dedicated pen/pencil/Sharpie slot, and a catch rail on the desk top.

Comes with a tough Australian hardwood work peg and a separate sawing peg; the overhanging leading edge accepts most other peg types and clamps. Work surfaces are smooth exterior-grade hardwood marine ply. No chipboard or MDF anywhere.
